Logged in and found the boat I am in is missing

Postby Sweetness » Sat Dec 12, 2009 2:48 pm

I moored a little way out from the bank and logged out.

When I logged in I found myself standing on the surface of the water. No boat. An earlier poster was advised that sometimes the boat is slow to load, so if he had waited it should have loaded. I am waiting. The first time I logged out again without moving my character at all, but only after I caught up reading new forum posts and she fell asleep. I'm trying again but I have a feeling she will fall asleep again soon...

How soon can I assume that the boat was stolen or decayed and give up and walk ashore?

I don't think the boat could have been stolen, and am curious to know if it could have been. I was in it, with two straw baskets. I think that means there would have been room for no one else, and with me in it they couldn't have steered it anyway?

I'd guess it's because of this.

I was in Xanadu's grid?? I had no idea. I was in the North West on the main supergrid and I thought Xanadu was in the East.

Okay, many thanks. I will slosh ashore... and see what, if anything is left of the camp!

Ooh, heck!! It says I need swimming to cross deep water, so I have to re-log in at RoB because that's my only other option.

Gonna be a long walk....
