Agility for travelling

Postby desyrio » Fri Dec 18, 2009 9:00 am

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has a rough estimate about the amount of AGI required to teleport, say, along an entire grid (5k tiles)? and two? is the increment linear?

Thanks

not linear, exponential. I'm guesstimating you'll need ~100. You can try making some ranger boots which will buff your agi by ~10 depending on Q IDR base. Check out blaze's Jewelry thread on what you might be able to trade him for jewelry now that you have a mine. A pair of thanes give +50 Agi.

for a 5000tile travel you need ~40agi.

Actually neither, but polynomial. It scales with O(d^(3/2)), d being the distance travelled.

Woohoo! Devs release a formula!

Care to give any indication how that crosses with AGI to produce a TW cost?

Interesting, thanks :)

Then, using the assumption that 40 AGI covers 5000 tiles, it's something like

40 = x * (5000)^3/2

so x is about 10^(-4).

If this stands correct, the formula should be

REQ.AGI = 10^(-4) * DIST^(3/2)
