About taming

Okay... For taming cows / sheep..

How much unarmed combat skill is nescessary to have a reasonable chance at taming cows, and how much for sheep?
And, is unarmed combat the only skill required, or is there maybe also even a minimum stat requirement?

With careful exploitation of the game you could tame cows and sheep with 0 unarmed melee or marksmanship maybe a bow for sheep.

Avu your wrong. To tame you need a rope equipped so bows and anything two handed is out of the question. but the lower unarmed you have the easier it is actually

You need the bow to apply the different special attacks behind a fence though to be honest I haven't tried it still it should work. You don't need to deal a single point of damage on the animal you are trying to domesticate. Low unarmed will only help for those 2 initiative points but no pain no gain does the same more reliably and since you do have to spend time taming the hp will regenerate itself. You don't actually have to have the rope on hand until you use quell the beast so just switch... I know crazy concept.
