Raoming calves

SO here's the skinny, not sure what this could be, a bug or what.

First, our owner (as illustrated in another thread) made a booboo and killed our old cows during a brainlock over the amount of food eaten, leaving our 3 calves without mommy milk. Course we went immediatly and got another male and female = preggy cow, but who's to say if the calves will live until she can give milk. Oh well, said and done. More on the way, now he knows better (as does everyone), whatever.

Here's the mystery. I noticed a calf raoming around the area north of our town, I thought at first a calf had gotten out of the pasture, so I ran got the rope and got it, only to then see our 3 calves still in the pasture now = 4. Hummm, I then went looking north and found another = 5. So where did these 2 calves come from? Yes we have released tame bulls onto the flats during the old "where's a damn female" thing as we tame. But we've certainly not released any females to wild roam.

So could these 2 calves be from the slaughtered females that were pregnant when they were killed? Could they have been born next to the fence = bug? I don't think so because I don't believe the 2 cows that he killed were close to their birth times. Anyone have any suggestions as to where these calves could have came from.

PS: we are 4th teir, never seen another player in the whole wide area (or evidence of anyone having come this way) so theres no camps, villages or anyone else anywhere near who could have tamed any cows out here except us. Just a bit perplexed as to where they came from, it seems most reasonable to assume somehow they were born from the slaughtered cows? Some kind of glitch possibly?
