Beef Calculation?

Postby Rhiannon » Sat Jan 09, 2010 12:48 am

So I have a surival of 31, Farming of 97, my axe is q109, my saw is Q177 (Don't know which ones really matter) but, I slaughtered a beef cow that grew up and we didn't want. His "meat quality" was 13. The meat I got from him when I butchered was 3...that's THREE, as in Quality 3...lol Um so what exactly is the quality calculation going on here? If anyone knows that is cause that seems uberfrakked.

It could have been either the cow's wellfedness (the rightmost meter in their character sheets, that is) or the quality of the food it has been eating (shown numerically in the character sheet). Both of those decrease the resulting meat quality of cows if they aren't properly maintained.

Well, no... The info display shows the genetic information. Even if the food quality and wellfedness isn't up to par, the full value will still be inherited, so I think it's more useful that way.
