Attempting to use H&H on a USB

Postby MetalMilitia » Wed Jan 27, 2010 3:53 pm

I have the latest Java platform on my USB (It's the same as my laptop and H&H works) mostly for freecol and I'm wonder if I can get H&H to work on it.

Am I right in thinking that I only need to download the online client then open it in Java or is there a simpler way than mucking about in Java?

probably depends on your OS but i think you'd need to do a proper install of java not just have it on a usb drive. are you trying to play the game on a public computer that doesn't have java and you don't have the access rights to install it or something? i don't get it.

You're missing clarifying a LOT of information here.

I'm going to assume:

LiveUSB with a full OS installed, including Java

Now, what OS is this installed in the LiveUSB? Knoppix?
