Okay, first get some other nice player to feed you LOTS of strength and con food. Meantime wear your shoes, don't stomp ants, stay within bear proof fences and... do a lot of fishing yeah. For sturgeon. Or farming. For bread.

I wouldn't risk leeches until you have raised your hard hit points (by raising your attributes) to at least 6 HHP and preferably 10.

If you are really desperate and fond of your character, tell his hearth secret to just-now-created alt and leave him in storage until the alt has filled a cupboard with ant soldiers, ant pupae, bread, boar, bear and sturgeon. Consider this advice to take a week's bed rest....

i recovered from 4 hhp with very careful leeching. put a leech on, let it do 1shp damage, take it off, wait until your shp recovers, repeat. takes a while.

You can do leeches at 3, albiet it's much more tedious. the limit is 2. When you have 2SHP (and thus, HHP as well), you will take HHP damage insteado fSHP damage from leeches.

gauteamus is selling gauzes atm, you might want to get some (way easier than leeches at this point).
