Actually that is your claim as you inherited your ancestors stuff. You need to find it.

I know that this is a problem. I'm not sure what to do about it. What I'd probably want is a system that can be used to trade land ownership and which would, then, also be possible to use for remote declaiming of land.

For now, it is hard even for me to declaim that land for you, because I can only find out where it is if that particular part of the map is loaded at the moment. I'll keep an eye out -- it should be loaded sooner or later.

Did I say that? I cannot imagine it. You are, however, supposed to start at your ancestor's hearth fire, and I do not, indeed, quite understand how you avoided doing that.

Not that you don't have a point, it's just that, as I stated above, I cannot currently locate a plot unless it's loaded at the moment. I'll fix that sooner or later.

Why not add stairs to another corner of the start room that spawns you and your hearth at a claim stake. THe stairs appear if you inherit a runestone and that ancestor has a claim.

This gives players the option of starting at their claim but likewise perhaps their location was undesireable. Perhaps if said stairs are not chosen when exiting the creation chamber said claim automatically is declaimed.

Of course, the latter would not be necessary with remote claim management.

I actually found it, so you should be able to make a new claim now.
