Such as?

There's ridges lakes, swamps beaches and deserts as far as i know. All of which show up on the minimap and the map on this forum.
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Not possible at the moment. We'll be addressing this issue next time we improve the map generator. For now, the only mines available are the mining holes, such as the one by the Ring of Brodgar.

I kind of like the idea of only having extremely limited places where you can mine for minerals (successfully) as it kind of encourages people into co-locating and will possibly make for successful trade caravans (especially if there are multiple rare resources that are not geographically co-located)

I would think trading is already implemented. All you need is an urn or basket to carry the produce you are trading and carry it the the other persons settlement then pick up the payment and walk home. :)

Oh there are theifs. That is why you would need to get them to put the payment down outside their land before you put down your produce. :D
