build a boat and explore

It took me about a day to get to the point I could build a boat.

However I did meet someone fairly early on, by pure chance, I was noobing it up by a river, and a guy passed by on a boat. He stopped breifly to say "zomg!" "a nooby", then continued on his way.
This was a disapointing first contact, to say the least

This map is big (at least it seems so to newbs...make it bigger plox), driving around for half an hour is nothing. Drive around for 2 ot 3 hours and we can talk again.
