Deleting characters?

How do I delete a character? My first few attempts of making characters ended rather disastrously (I only started playing a day or so ago). How do I delete the ones I'm not playing?

Can't really delete them, but you can suicide them if you want them out of your login screen. Just buy swimming and go for a quick swim. Don't ever buy it if you don't want to die, because it's basically the suicide button.
