Weapon's damage

Postby Edhardt » Thu Feb 04, 2010 8:33 pm

How does the damage of a weapon calculated?

Here is the information from wiki:

Stone axe - 5 + 1/2 strength
Bronze sword - 15
Militia Sword - 10 + 1/3 strength
Soldier's sword - 20 + 1/3 strength
Battleaxe - 62 + 1/3 strenght

But, apparently, that it wrong. If true, then stone axe would be better then soldier's sword, beginning with 90 strength. Could you explain this fact, or give me a better formula?

that's for q10

for q40 you get x2 to base, q90 is x3, q160 is x4

so a q160 soldier's sword would do 80 + 1/3 str while a q160 axe would do 20+ 1/2 str

there's still a point that the axe does more damage, but it's slower and seems to miss more.

also they are working on the combat system
