getting/having wheat problems

hey ok i was wondering... the wheat grows in the area where theres chikens and the things that turn into sheep and cow right? welll i looked through every square inch of it and not a single piece of whet this side of the river so i dont know whee the nearest place with wheast is so im actualy asking does wheat grow in the place that shows yellow on minimap and has tall grass everywhere where the animals live?

wheat grows on the green grassland. and if you want instant answers, you'll have better luck in IRC.

Also, if the wild wheat has already been picked clean from the area, you'll have to trade/steal it from another player or search farther away.

i solved the problem becaus my neibor was finaly online at same time as me and he gave me some of his wheat seeds becaus he has like 100 spots of wheat in there
