My chicken coop has chickens in it, with a rooster to make the eggs fertile. The chickens recently laid several eggs. I then proceeded to try and liven things up a little by planting some grass around the camp, particulary around the chicken coop. Now, there are chickens waking around everywhere, and the eggs my chickens laid earlier are still there, and thetime is still ticking down. But, there are chickens surrounding the outside of my coop. I know that if the eggs hatch and theres not enough room in the coop, the chickens probably just get thrown out, but I do not see how the eggs would have hatched that quickly. Does planting grass have a chance of attracting chickens?
