Get wool?

Can i shear wild sheep or isn't that possible anymore?
Wild sheep are those brown creatures with curly horns, right?

If i have to tame them first, what equipment/stats should i have? Which lvl should the sheep be?

The sheep in my area are lvl8-10 and are attacking me all at once, and even a single one pwns me real bad. I've been looking for lower lvls, but haven't found any yet...

Oh, and what's up with players building "traps" with construction signs?
How does that help? Is this intended or an exploit?

Animals cannot pass though construction signs, as such they 'pen' in animals and attack them with a sling/bow without been able to be attacked.

Sadly my mistake was to pen in a lvl IX wolf, which i could not harm anyway (Marksmenship 1, sling 4)

As to wool, i have no idea.

You can't sheer wild sheep anymore. You have to tame them. It takes about an hour and you'll need not-noob combat stats for it. If you have trouble killing a sheep, you won't be able to tame one without some decent armor.

Sheep have no levels. They are as strong as they are, and will be that strong everywhere.

The only way to get wool is to have a sheep of your own. You cannot sheer untamed sheep.
Wild sheep are indeed the Ram looking things, they change back to the old sheep when you have tamed them.


Oh and by the way... Cows/Sheep will always zerg rush you like that. Best to trap them in a pen before trying to tame, all except the 1 you want to tame.

If you want to heal without going through all the bs involved with taming, just get some leeches. They heal, though slowly.


Sheep do 12 dmg, so having enough armor to take that would help

i might have 100 armor but that dosent mean i could even get 1 one em on mele lol
