Safe Storage

Under these circumstances,

You have a log cabin with a cupboard in it. No Claimed land, no real items of value, im a newbie still

Should you store items in the cupboard, or in a leanto (in baskets) outside?

Irreplacable items and items urgently needed the next time you log on, such as food supplies when you log out hungry and with low stamina should be stored in inventory.

If you are logged in and need to empty inventory I would currently go with the urn in the lean to. This gives you a tiny bit of theft protection, where the cabin does not.

If you are going to be logged out and have replaceable items that it would be exasperating but easy to replace I would go with the cupboard. The difference here is that if you are logged out for say four days there is a good chance your lean to will decay and the items could be entirely lost. Lean-tos don't last very long.

So it all depends on the immediate value of the items you are trying to safeguard.
