Get enough food?

Right now I 1 hit bunnies. Okay, nice. But I still seem to be starving a lot, any tips and tricks?

well, u can try looking for more rabbit or chicken... thats the easier way to keep from starving to death... or there is another way, fishing... but u need complete set of material to make the fishing rod and bait.. =D

I had the same problem, the solution is to move your camp.

Find some grassland (bright green) these contain apple trees and will feed your hunger.

Otherwise go by a river/lake, and use a fishing rod (rod+bone hook+string+bait/lure)

In grassland there is chicken and rabbits for meat, apples too.

In moorland (yellow) there is chicken and rabbits for meat too.

p.s. you dont 1 hit bunnies, walk up over them then right click, in your inventory right click to kill it.

I cant do that, I have hunting though. I just kill them skin them and take the meat, so I have bones and fur for other stuff.


ALSO: I cant move my camp since I live in a village, we now have a road towards the apple trees we live on, its just not enough to keep us from starving because its quite a distance.

well on the note of food if the apple trees are a long walk i would recoment planting apple trees IN your base because if you have a wall or are in a unpopulated area youl probaly never have that tree cut down.

Get foraging and raise your exploration. This will enable you to spot spindly taproots (also useful for string and fishing line) blueberries and chantrelles.

Then when you go bunny hunting you will also find three more sources of food.

I should add that all of those -bunnies, chantrelles, blueberries and spindley taproot - are renewable resources. Sometimes it takes as little as 20 minutes for a new crop to respawn, although I would wait half an hour at least before backtracking to see if anything new has appeared. They don't respawn if you are in that immediate location, so you have to go away for awhile before you will see more.
