The lag is not your computer's fault.

We are all getting it bad intermittently.

This is a problem the dev's are working diligently to solve. It is at their end.

The only thing I can suggest is to have nothing but H & H open when you play. If that doesn't help then nothing you can do will.

We are all waiting impatiently for the fix.

If your computer cant run this 2D Java game you REALLY need to consider buying a new PC.

Aside from seeting windows to maximum performance instead of appearence, and closing down background programs, there is not alot you can do without upgrading hardware. The game on my machine uses 350MB of ram alone, so you should have a bare minimum of 512MB ram in the machine.

As to CPU/GPU, its a java game you don't need much power, the lag you are getting is more than likely the server being slow. If your character is jumping back and forth, stuttering, can't open inventory, but the map itself moves and loads fine this is the server issue. If the graphics like trees and such are being drawn very slowly then this is your machine. Based on the games requirements, it is not going to be your machine.
