Prospecting

Hello's, so i have prospecting now but not too sure what the information gives means. I went into a cave and prospected and it said, ( Tin : 15% of Useable ). What does this mean and/or is there a guide availabe that i missed i forums. Thanks

it means you're close to some tin. when it gets to 100% you can build a mine there. it might be in that cave, or a different cave nearby.

Is the spot with 100% just a single tile (like a well) or a fairly large area?

Make sure you have a block of wood in your inventory, when you prospect close to the tile with the tin your character will walk there and start building a mine (100 woodblocks)

So after 9 jars of extract, 3 caves and hours of searching best i got was 89% which is very dishearting lol, only thing i can figure is im missing a cave that i cant not see due to unable to rotate camera. On the plus side i came out with 27 cavebulbs between all the searching which are sadly useless now lol.

If you prospect outside of a cave I don't think it'll detect mines in caves nearby as they are on a different map.
