Get my characters name changed?

Today I decided to make a ranger character for fun. The main driving force behind this was the fact that I still can't view fragmented packets and therefore can't play on my main. During character creations I wasn't really thinking about the name and entered something completely different to what I intended to.
The name that I gave the character is that of a pen and paper role playing character I have and was cleaning out my RolePlaying Game folder at the same time as playing. It is a common mistake for me to type words that I had heard or read moments before without realising it.
Is it possible for the devs to just this once give him a name change or is this impossible/against the rules?

EDIT: Also I didn't notice the name difference until I logged out and that was after gaining almost/just over half the skills with many hours spent getting said skills.

Have you done too much with this character for suicide and reincarnation to be worth it?

I guess I could keep working with it, get full tradition and then take a walk with the leeches. Thanks for the idea.
