How Random is Noobie Spawning?

How random is noobie spawning? With 49 supergrids do I have an equal chance of ending up in each grid?

I ask this because an awful lot of my alts are winding up within easy walking distance of my main on a regular basis. Two out of the last three have been in easy strolling distance and this defeats the way I like to play. If I wanted them close I'd have had them spawn at my hearth and then move out.

I suppose that this is just one of those random luck things, like flipping eight heads out of ten? I know odd coincidences happen. I'd just like confirmation that there is nothing making my alts more likely to spawn near each other.

Im not sure about it. It may just have been coincidence. Cause all of my characters are not even close to each other. I havnt been able to locate any markings that looked familiar to any of their camps.

I believe it spawns you in a random location that has a civ level of 9 or 10.

My alts seem spread out, i have yet to encounter any similar areas. They might eb close but with no big map or obvious landmarks, i wouldnt really know.
