...find a rustroot?

i looked it up on the wiki:

To find rustroots have perception and exploration both greater than 20 and look in pineforest for them.
They look like a blood pool on the ground

exploration is at 41, perception at 21
still dont find any

anything i missed?

Get your perception up to 40 and they won't be quite so rare. At 40x30 you will do better though.

You can also equip spectacles, they're pretty easy to make:

- 2 pieces of raw glass
- 1 piece of metal nugget

I think that's what it is, I can't be bothered booting up the client to check and wikia doesn't have the recipe, but it's a pretty easy one to get items for.

The spectacles should be able to bump up your perception as well as your chances of finding more rustroot.

Yeah. But thirst you must find this town, find it's inhabitents, not get killed, and have something to trade for.

Everyone buys chantrelles. True about the first two. If only that town you find after hours of searching could set up a stall to buy chantrelles so you don't have to catch them online...
