Where am I?

How do I figure out where I am? I've tried looking at the maps and such and just can't figure it out...

I believe the proper term for where you are right now is Bumfuck Nowhere

Seriously though, if you took a wilderness spawn, you could be anywhere in the world and 90% of the world isn't on the map so chances are that you're "off the grid" so to speak. About all you can do at this point is explore around and look for neighbors. In the grand scheme, knowing what (and who) is around you locally is more important than knowing where you are in relation to the world as a whole.

Hmm, well I've been looking around and so far after a few hours of boating and walking I've only found 2 plots, I'm trying to find some more settled areas so I can get supplies better. Couldn't find any wild wheat so I had to steal some from a neighbor ( I did replant his crop though). Just would like to find someone nearby who is actually online so im not just out there on my own...

How do I figure out where I am? I've tried looking at the maps and such and just can't figure it out...

On my old accounts I couldn't find like, anyone's base. I made a new account a few days ago and found like. 7-9 bases near me. In fact, there are some abandoned bases around me too but I haven't really taken any supplies or anything as of yet. I need to get a group of people together for after reset if you're interested so we can build up a town. I got about three people so far(possibly four.) and five would be a great help. I wanted to get it to about ten trusted people(which I know might be really hard to do aha.)
