Thicket

What's the name for the terrain for the really thick tangled plant growth? I've seen it growing both around cedar trees and around the usual birch-maple-oak type of forest.

Edit: Correction: there are no apple trees in this type of terrain.

It really burns your stamina fast to walk through it.

Is there anything useful there?

It sounds like an interesting new wrinkle in exploration. It would be neat to have a cabin isolated deep in a thicket.
