What level of exploration do you need to see the new seed plant?

Perception * Exploration = 75

So 10 Perception * 8 Exploration should do it.

If you know where there is a lake the plaice are biting in the shallow during this phase of the moon, and they give 1/3 intelligence and 2/3 perception fep. Those who want to push perception and have access to a lake are likely fishing.

The fish are on a schedule for biting? Interesting.

Actually, I have 1 Perception and 10 Explore when I found my first one. Found on hearthland. The second only moments ago on my way to the river in forest...

Just for the record -- if you keep collecting weeds in the same geographical area, they're likely to all result in just about the same kind of seed (or at least a narrow spectrum of seeds). For different seeds, you'll have to pick weeds more remotely.
