Strange bush-like things with great stamina drain when not crawling trough, covering large area of forest. Is it possible to remove them? And if yes, how?

I think what you're describing is a swamp and no you cannot remove it.

No, there's a new type of terrain.


Haven't tried to "interact" with it yet though.

A friend of mine tried plowing it, it drains your stamina quicker than walking through it does.

Maybe it will keep out bears. Somebody run from one into the thicket.

Every time I pass by the local thicket, I want to run in and explore, because I get the feeling that J&L hid something awesome deep inside it, and the stamina drain was to keep noobs from reaching it.

I tried plowing, and yes, bushes visually disappear after it. Stamina drain even with plow is great, though - for 3 tiles of plowed land it consumed 50% of stamina bar.

Might be a good idea building you place in the middle.. may keep away thieves.
