Anyway to grind?

Postby Agarrett » Tue Mar 02, 2010 3:03 am

Is there any possible way to grind lp without decimating trees? Or did they destroy any way possible to actually get lp quickly. Seriously, I need 30k lp and I can't get that lp without grinding. That or spend a month or so playing, because I can't be on ALL the time.

At Full Change/Peace doing some foraging gives good LP. Something close 100lp per herb or so, 40 or so Lp less then cutting down a tree and even more when you remove the stump, but you don't have to eat your body weight every 5mins...
[Politics] The word was derived by the joining of two others, Poli - A Latin word meaning Many. And Tics - Annoying Bloodsucking Parasites...

I got 30k LP in 2 days, played a total of about 12 hours. If you grind you will bore yourself very quickly. Set goals and work towards them. You will be surprised how quickly you gain the LP. Also, get your Personal Beliefs set to Peaceful as soon as possible (don't worry about the bottom belief since whatever top 4 you choose, the bottom will automatically switch to Change.) Peaceful and Change both give you a LP bonus. When they're both at full Peaceful and Change, your LP Bonus is 360%, which REALLY helps learning those skills early on.

Also, cutting down trees isn't as great a grind as you think. Sure you get about 100 LP a tree, but you can get even more if you build stuff like houses, walls, etc. I just recently finished enclosing my soon-to-be village in palisade walls, netting me +20k LP.

To sum it all up, set goals, work towards them, try a little bit of everything. A watched pot doesn't boil, or whatever the saying goes.
