Curiosity question

Postby Rhiannon » Fri Mar 05, 2010 5:49 pm

Don't know why I didn't think of this in the last world but I began wondering last night. Now it takes metal bars to make a pickaxe...but it takes a pickaxe to dig ore to make the metal bars. So in a new world like this...where did the first bars come from to make the first pickaxe to dig the first ore since you cannot make the first bars without the first ore which you cannot dig without the first pickaxe?

Of course there is an obvious answer...but...well...kind of makes you look at the player ladder a bit differently if you do think of that answer. So, is there another?

Ahhh, thanx, that explains the paradox. I never tried with a stone axe.
