I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the bugs forum, because I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong or not. I've tried exploring a cave with a torch, and I can't see anything. It can't be that the torch wasn't lit - I made sure to equip it and right click to light it, and after I gave up and hearthed back to my home, the torch was clearly still burning. I tried adjusting the display settings for my computer, and spent awhile moving the various sliders for brightness and contrast and everything else back and forth, but I still couldn't see anything. I've also noticed that when it's very dark outside but just barely light enough that you can walk without bumping into trees, and I light a fire, there's no noticeable change in the amount of light around the fire. I only see a difference with fires when it's late afternoon or early morning in game.
Could quality be an issue? The torch I had was pretty low quality, so do better quality ones produce more light? Is there anything else I can do to help see?
