tracking... red circle?

=big red circle that doesn't point anywhere.. just compeltely dark red.. well the dark red of pointing.
ie.. the entire circle is shaded in... no pointing anywhere.
Whats this mean?

This is just a guess but are you sure you're not tracking yourself?

You might not be seeing the pie slice. they kind of blend in with the circle.

yea.. i wasnt tracking the person, he wasnt online.. [which.. i was..]
and it was tracking hearth.. so if it was my scent it should of lead to my hearth or something? and said i was online?
and im 100% sure it wasn't not seeing the pie slice, i had other scents on me, and i could see hte pie slice fine..
it wasn't the normal pie colour, it was the pie-slice colour but over the entire thing.

I think there's a slight bug in the drawing of that effect which makes the pie disappear at certain angles.

This , i believe, is caused by hearthfires being inside houses or underground in mines.

Which completely fubars tracking because you cant use those items inside.

Nope, in that case, there would be an error message saying something along the lines of "The perpetrator cannot be tracked from this place".

However, I also believe (I'm pretty sure) that the tracking of people and hearth fires in houses and mines should be working quite well.

By the way, I am rather sure that the correct direction when the piece of pie is missing should be eastwards. That should be what triggers the bug.
