Skills for sling construction

Postby Rhiannon » Sun Mar 14, 2010 6:49 am

Which ones go into the creation of a sling and bow. Sewing?, Construction? your Dexterity? Anyone know the contributing factors (Aside form the obvious Fibre quality foior slings and wood for bows)?

Thanks,
Survival determines sling quality?..lol Strange indeed. But ok, off to level it up then. Least I know which one now.

i wouldnt say its strange. a sling has nothing to do with marksmanship, its just a basic "tool"....

I recall recently in thread using the word "Claim", as such, when asking clarification of one the equations on something. To get a "because it is" needle form another poster. Well THIS is why I used the word "claim". After playing so long I wouldn't trust the "annoucned claims" of what does what and how from experience if anything relevant like life depended on it..LOL. So I agree , it is a real good questtion...so the "claim" is that your survival + quality of material = sling production...ummm, then I 2nd it...why did danath come out with a q25 sling based on his input?

Could be that dexterity is involved in making slings.
