Regarding Log Cabin Placement

Postby x-quake » Wed Mar 17, 2010 8:17 am

So, me and a friend just started playing this game. We built a log cabin a while ago, but have sadly discovered it is in the way for our palisades.

Is it possible to destroy a log cabin? Or perhaps have it moved 1 unit to the north?

The possibility to destroy houses has just recently been added to the game. You would have to build a battering ram to do so, which needs to be operated by 5 people.

I am not sure if anyone has tried to destroy a house so far, but my guess would be that even if you gathered the 5 strongest chars out there (characterwipe happened just over two weeks ago), they would have a hard time destroying the building. So it looks like you will have to work around this inconvenience.

Ah, okay then. We will try to use the house as part of the fence then, I guess. Nothing else we can do because of its position. Thanks.

It was my impression that rams could take any number of people.

Also, if houses don't have soak damage like walls do, then anyone could destroy one given enough time.

While I am at it: when building a Palisade gate, how far apart do the cornerposts need to be?
Nevermind, I know now.

Rams take four people.

EDIT: And I'm unsure on house soak levels.
