Log Cabin Building

I was about to place a sign post for my log cabin, and noticed there was no door on the preview... is that just because its a preview? Or do I need to rotate it? If so how?

That was because of the preview. The door will be there once you built the cabin. It is not possible to rotate buildings atm.

The door will be on the bottom right / east side
