If the claim is within a village it can be destroyed by the village lawspeaker.

Your best bet therefore is to put up a village idol beside the claim. Otherwise there is no way it can be done.

bloodyphoenix, why do you need to break it at all? with trespassing and theft you can already do as you please on the claim.

P.S. that's just what I needed :( there's at least one player out there willing and capable to wreak havoc anywhere, claim or not, palisade or not :(

It takes five people to make a village and is quite expensive. However if you are trying to claim an abandoned mine the effort might be worth it. If you are worried about some invader destroying your claim this way you are only in danger if you face an organized determined enemy who would probably find it easier to try to kill your character.

The trouble with stealing from abandoned claims is that you leave a theft scent and that can be used to summon and kill you.
