Formula for making a sling

What's the formula for making a sling? Does survival matter or just marksman skill level?

And what does the Q of a sling do?
Do more damage with it? (since stone q doesnt matter)

I believe the forumla is

The average quality of the 5 strings used, but is capped by yours marksmenship skill.

So
Marksmen 10
Q10,Q10,Q10,Q10,Q10, = Q10 Sling

Marksmen 10
Q20,Q20,Q20,Q20,Q20, = Q10 Sling

Marksmen 40
Q20,Q20,Q20,Q20,Q20, = Q20 Sling

The better the quality the more damage and faster you aim, although damage and aiming speed is capped by the forumla on the other topic you read.
So for a sling you want Marksmen to be twice the amount of the quaility of your sling/bow. Personally i would get to about a Q30/40 sling and Marksmen 80 before moving to a Q40 bow.

Skills are soft cap, not hard, so in your second example it'd actually be a q15 sling.

Oh, and it's definitely survival for slings.
