How far from the map edge is the invisible wall?

Postby Pansy » Tue Mar 23, 2010 10:26 am

I'm curious what the distance is between the invisible wall and the edge of the outer supergrids. Does anyone know how many tiles?

My understanding is that the edge of each supergrid is pine forest without water or cliff obstacles. These obstructions don't extend from one supergrid to the next. I'm trying to figure out how practical it would be to run a long distance road down the rim of two supergrids.

i don't recall exactly but i think it's 180 tiles

that is correct, sometimes the rivers and ridges go right up to the edge of one supergrid though. if there is any place that you would be able to build a long road it would be at the edges of the supergrids. you might run in to a few obstacles that you would have to go around, but for the most part, it should be a clear shot.
