Cheesemaking

Postby Cicious » Tue Mar 23, 2010 3:55 pm

I finally reached the point where I can make cheese. But I can't find out, anywhere how much milk is needed for 1 Curd? I currently got 3 litres of Rennet and 2 litres of milk, how much curd would that give me? :o Also how long would the cheese take to reach stage 1?

Yes I do know, and I've been looking there for half a day but it doesn't say how much milk I need, just milk.

I could say look here: http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Curding_Tub
but that doesnt really solve it either. Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck finding out.. Also, edit the wiki page if you do :)

well the curding tub holds 100L of milk, i'm not sure how many curds you get out of it, but i'd guess a curd to a liter. throw your rennet and 2L of milk in there and see how many curds you get.

It's indeed 1 curd per liter.
