How do claims work

Yes ive searched the forums first.

So I had my gate open because there's a claim on it. Now half of my cupboards - my stock - is gone. What to do, i cant find any scents, (dont know where to look either) raiders just plain suck :')

They might have high stealth lol, and never leave your gate open :)

If those cupboard are outside, they may have gotten destroyed by decay though.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

you need the Ranging skill first in order to see scents.

then there is a tracking toggle in the adventure menu, which you have to turn on, and then you can see scents.
