Can't build cupboard

Every time I try to build a cupboard I get a "you cannot build that there" message. I am building on ordinary un-ploughed forest floor where I have always built cupboards before.

Has something changed?

Edit: It won't allow me to build on a paved tile either.

From what i have seen you can only build cupboards in houses now kinda sucks but it makes sense.

Oh well....

Anyway, it makes more sense than when I could only build furniture outside and then carry it in.

it would be nice if you could also build them in cellars
