How do i avoid dying?

So lately... I've died about 4 times, all from boars. I can't even fight back, all i do is run around until it kills me. Help?

Really, I would explain it to you, but thing is I dont know everything about the game - by a long shot -. So.. just look it up in the wiki and find out while playing
Also water makes for quick travel if you have a boat but you dont really need it to survive.

Basically you need to do some type of work -taking branches and boughs off trees and building things - to get lp, and then use your lp to purchase skills. What skill you get will depend on where you are.

The first thing you need to do is figure out what your food source will be. If you are in a grassland of some type you can find chickens. If you are by water you can fish. If you are in deep forest you will need to rely on foraging.

You start by building yourself a little camp and then let it get bigger and bigger, maybe with fences, a house, if you find clay with a kiln, after you find windblown weeds you make a farm, if you get hunting you build drying racks for skins and you tan them. If you can't find a river or a lake then you get hearth magic, make a dreamcatcher, collect a dream and make a dowsing rod and find a well point...
