If I can see something (lets say, chantrelles), will I see more chantrelles if my exploration (or per*exp for that matter) goes up or do you see everything there is to see when you see something?

Your PER*EXP is rolled against the foragables level. If you get a winning roll, you see it. If not, you dont.

Foragables are always there. You can re-roll by reloading the area in some way. (log in/out, enter exit cabin, walk away and come back)

There is a point when you have enough per*exp that you will be finding 100% of every foragable, but that takes 10000 per*exp (unless something has a higher level than cavebulbs, or their level has been ninja updated).

Thank you very much Seizure. Ive been thinking to stop investing in exploration because I dont really see a difference, but this proves otherwise. Cheers

one further point: there is a certain level of per*exploration where you will see 50% of a certain foragable, iirc half the per*ex is needed to see any at all, and double is needed to see all of them all the time

Its logic, otoh, joking with me :P? Because on 51% of a certain level you would see 51% of something?
Haha no ok good to know ^^
Shame nobody has been able to compile a list on the wiki what those levels might be. But its jorbloftar's intention to make us find out ourselves I guess
Thanks :)

no i mean if you need 10 per*ex to see something at all, you need 20 to see 50% of it, and 40 to see 100%, if you need 80 per*ex (e.g. wild windsown weeds) to see something at all, you need 160 to see 50% of it, and 320 to see 100% of it. hth.
