Terraforming and that time clock?

Postby Riou1231 » Fri Mar 26, 2010 5:57 am

So, how do i Terraform? I want to plant Grass so I can maybe catch some chickens, the wiki told me that to Terraform, i should go to the Adventure tab and click the Dig button, yet i see no Dig button whatsoever. So next, I tried planting a seed, didn't work. Do i need some sort of farming skill or whatever to terraform?

And that clock thingy in the middle... Right now it's at night, does real time affect this? Because at the moment it's pitch black and I can't see anything.

first you plow the land then you go to adventure > landscaping > plant grass and it uses a seed (any seed) from your inventory. if you don't have the landscaping option then buy some skills.

it's also under the landscaping menu, or you can build a plow under the build menu. you'll need lumberjacking and probably carpenty and farming.

note: plowing from the landscaping menu or "hand plowing" uses a lot of stamina

Because of the massive amount of stamina for hand plowing, it is recommended to create a wooden plow from 2 wooden boards, 6 wooden blocks, and 5 branches. Build > Tools > Wooden Plow

the "clock" affects indeed the light :p It also seemed to have an effect on the fish you could catch. I dont know exact numbers, but there are several game days in a real day
