Confused about Bee Hives.

There are several questions that I have about that construction. Searched forums, wikki, but had no clear answer for it anyhow..

1) Quality of Honey. How do I improve that? I had Bee Hive that was giving 14ql honey (even though people could swear it wasnt lesser than 30 before), I replaced it with absolutely new one with better straw and boards - it was still giving ql 14 honey :O. Next day - it was 24... And today its 31... considering that 14 and 24 ql of honey was harvested from same growing fields - I kinda lost here about how it works.

2) How often should I harvest Honey? And does it actually affects quality too?

3) Does Hive really gives Honey only from wheat as people say on forums? Because we just planted Hive in our flower area to check and... whoop = 30+ql honey from the spot o.O

4) Does Hive affects grow of every plant, or just wheat? What about trees?

5) How many Hives should I build on fields. Wikki says - 2 hives for 1 title of wheat... Looks like an overkill for me. Or did I just misunderstood therm of "title"?

6) just to confirm/deny. Is honey appears only if there is growing fields nearby? And does Hives still stop working if there is another one there too?

I think thats all. Sorry for a huge amounts of questions, but those are ones I really couldnt find direct answer to.

quality of honey is effected by both the quality of materials and the quality of crops around it

when it's dripping you can harvest it. if you harvest it as soon as it starts dripping you'll only get 0.1 L, it can hold up to 1 L. i don't think the q is effected by how often you harvest.

it gives honey from any growing crop

it effects all crop types. it does not currently effect trees, although it has been suggested and it seemed like loftar liked the idea.

build enough hives to cover your fields. you might get more honey if you build more, but there seems to be a limit to how much honey you can get based on the number of tiles of growing crops around.

and yes, there has to be fields in the growth stages nearby for it to produce honey. like i said, there seems to be a limit based on the number of tiles of crops, so if you have too many hives some of them might not produce any honey because that hive didn't pollinate the crops because it was already done by one of the other hives.
