Unarmed combat: a few questions

Postby froggy2727 » Sat Mar 27, 2010 5:38 am

I was just wondering while playing what level do you need in unarmed combat to kill any animal? I don't want to get kiled if i attack the animal. Can someone tell me what level?
They assume safety in the village that they dwell in. There is a predator of the clan who assumes his dominince over all the hearthlings. They try to run away to find safety, but he is to fast. And that is the great cycle of the village clan.

If you punch a fox and it 1 hits you, you need more skill.. and armor.. constitution helps too.

Start with ants if you want to try out unarmed combat. Get 10 in unarmed combat and you should do fine. You'll likely need ~50+ ish to punch out level x foxes. I'm around there and they're almost killable. It could just be that I suck at the combat system, which isn't out of the realm of possibility :P

Take a loot at how much a fox will deplete your defense meter. If it is depleted by one whole swipe as well as a lot of your HP, you need a lot more training. Alternatively you can try a berserk tactic by using charge move and death or glory maneuver. Try to build around 10-15 intiative before using all intiative to reduce the fox's defense before using punch (do it fast or the fox will rapidly recover its defense with its spring move). I made a series of entries on the wiki on explaining their attack pattern and how to combat them. This one is for the fox.

As mentioned above ants are the best training animal.

If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

Well all you do is click on the animal to attack it. I usally just press punch and ii works just fine.I'm not sure why it's not working for you though. :|
