ATTACK???

well i trained unarmed and were going to kill my first animal. yohhoo!!
or so i thought... becouse when i actally found my first animal i couldn't attack it. I used the Punch skill on a rabbit, a frog and some ants but what happend? NOTHING!!!
anyways this is my question is there anything besides using the punch skill on the creature i need to do, like targeting it?

Don't you need two points of initiative before you can punch? I think you need to use some other attack first to get those two points of initiative (by which time the rabbit will be far over the horizon and accelerating)

Interesting. I just pick them up, pet them for 5 seconds, and then snap their necks.

Do u really expect a boxing match with a rabit? It's hilarious! But you should expect a boxing match with an ant swarm! Knock em out, lol.
If serious, just intiate attack on ant swarm - good practice and they no longer deal grevious dmg.

check your marksmanship level. and aim at the feet. one punch and they SPLAT. you pick them up, dodge the boar, and keep on going.

you get lp for punching rabbits and chickens, but not for wringing their necks. My friend was screwing off and i notice he was getting lp and i wasn't getting any for wringing their neck.
