"Home is where the hearth is"...If i can manage to build one

Well you see, I keep trying to build a log cabin, but it says that I "Can not build that there".
What do i need to do, or where i need to go to build a house?

The first thing you need to do is pave the ground where you wish the house to grow. For a log cabin, you need a 5x5 paved area; for a timber house you need a 7x7 paved area.

You can also build on grasslands, or heath. But I think constructions decay slower on pavement.
