Leather working and tanning

ok so far so good in my little world. Ive got me some rabbit fur nice and dried out but where do i get a tanning tub from?

And there is a Boar in my camp and everytime i walk out of the house i get targeted any ideas

You need Carpentry and Leatherworking to make a tanning tub. Carpentry is 200lp. I think the path to leatherworking is hunting 200lp, animal husbandry 400 lp and leatherworking 600 lp.

You'll also need a bucket. (Coincidentally one log makes six boards, one tub needs three and one bucket needs one board). And water and bark.

To avoid the boar: Sneak out and go for a long foraging expedition and he will be gone when you get back. Log out for half and hour and take a break from H & H and he will be gone when you get back. Get Will to Power, make a sling from 5 strings, get branches, enclose yourself in unbuilt fires beside a boulder and start heaving stones at him until he dies. You probably need a 10 in marksman before you can kill him however.

It takes roughly twenty minutes of no player seeing a critter for it to vanish. If you work inside your fence with the critter in sight or keep popping out to check if it is gone it will stick around.

Final suggestion: Figure out how to crash the server. All non-persistent objects vanish when the server goes down. You can dispose of the boar this way and might earn a neat-o cape from the dev's too!

And im pretty sure i have all the skills needed to build on i just dont see it. ive checked everything i can build and nothing.

This however requires a metal saw. A bone saw will only yield four boards per log.

Oops. I meant to say four, the coincidence being that one log = 1 tanning tub and the bucket you want to fill it.
