Is there a way to turn sounds off? like for example the chopping or combat, is there a command or window i havent found where we can turn sounds off?

Are you using the default client?

If you are familiar with the command line in-game, "sfxvol 0" should turn the sound off.
If you are not, pressing ":" will bring it up.

If you use Vista or Win7, you can set volume level for H&H application to 0 via default system sound mixer. Just doubleclick sound manager icon in your system tray.

ahh thats good to know, hopefully i get my comp soon that contains vista, thus far using an old dell but i got a dual monitor set up going on so i want to be able to watch some movies or whatever as i play but its kind of distracting when your chopping trees

if you want you can also just turn down the sound volume of your computer.. :P
