Build a house

Postby Blxz » Mon Apr 05, 2010 6:53 pm

Ok, I've tried searching this forums for help on that but nothing seems specific enough to get me past my problem.

I have secured steady food, got a few basic tools and have no decided that my lean-to is not enough. I want a house. But neither the log cabin or timber house available to me now can be built on any ground that I have found. Currently plowing a big area as I thought that might work. But its only halfway done and was hoping someone could tell me what to do to place my logcabin and if there are any abilies that might be needed to do whatever your suggestion is.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

For the cabin you need to plow a 6x6 area and the pave it with stones. to do this you need to go chip rock of a boulder. need one stone per tile.

i personlly would suggest even if your not going to stay there to go for the timber house and for that you need a 7x7 paved area.

I say this (and others may disagree) because all the LP you get from just doing the work and building the house is awesome.

Make sure you are moving your personal belief bar

need to move the peaceful one towards peacefull this will move your change bar as well and this will increase the LP you get from your activities.

hope this helps

Hmm good question probably but im pretty new as well so this question will be better answered by someone else

Or you could answer it by trying it out without stone working and if it doesnt work then go get stone working. only 200 lp.

And now that Im thinking about it you should be able to see in your landscaping tab if you have it. let me know how it works out.

In case you're just not finding it, paving is found as Adventure -> Landscaping -> Lay Stone.

Yeah, took me a while but I got it. Things are nicely hidden in the menu's =). But its all logical once you learn a bit.

I built my first house long before I got stoneworking.

But it's still recommended regarding decay, is it?
