Is it possible?
Can a person dig a channel and make water run through it?
It would be awesome to make rivers going throught villages, and would make life so much easier!
Please, tell me it's possible...

I'm pretty knew, just began today.

Not possible, it's been suggested, though.

It has been suggested in different assorted way but there is no means of doing it of yet.

I'd so love to have a moat for my camp (plus a (draw)bridge), but that would provide countless new options for griefers to exploit, so I doubt it will be implanted in the near future.

EDIT: On that note, it would be really cool if we could fill ponds. You know, dig out a hole and fill it with buckets full of water.
